"Beatrice Dillon is a producer, composer and NTS DJ based in London" - dillonwork.com, February 2017
Moving and producing both on and off the radar over the last decade, Beatrice Dillon has established herself as a joyous escape into exciting and unpredictable excursions in sound. Whether featuring on the bill at a major art institution or releasing work with industry heads on rooted record labels around the world, Dillon has developed an array of talents and guises to meet each situation with strength. Recently being billed for a regular show on the eponymous NTS.live, she is often heard playing in our speakers. We look forward to welcoming her in sound and spirit.
"Rian Treanor... re-imagines the intersection of club culture, experimental art and computer music" - riantreanor.com, February 2017
A UK artist formed in the North of England that has recently begun his reach out much further afield. A string of releases, most notably the widely acclaimed 'Pattern damage' on The Death of Rave, have elevated Rian Treanor into the limelight. His music feasts a splicing of twitched up techno with smooth garage breaks.
Unpredictability that still allows for off beat rocks and uniform footwork. Alongside his music production, Treanor has a wealth of experience in the curation and management of artistic spaces. The amalgamation of which has developed an artist and performer whose live sets have begun to light up the international circuit. We are very pleased to announce that he will be performing live as a feature for us and you.
"The first time I heard Willow I didn’t know who she was. But I, along with around a hundred others, would be forced to take notice." - Crack Magazine, February 2017
Growing up around musical media and always moving in circles on the staves, it was a matter of time before the world stood up and took note. Born in Manchester and spending her formative years in and around nightclubs and after parties of the North. Once you encountered the sounds of r Willow. You rare forgot. Sultry and inviting yet remaining exclusive. Recent releases have brought new air to the established Workshop imprint. Now moved to London she keeps it safe on a busy international schedule. The freshest femme.
"Turinn emerges from a new generation of producers in [Manchester] that include longtime spar Willow" - Boomkat Limited, Feb 2017
Who is Turinn ? Listen to his music and it still is hard to tell. Expect machine drum clats out the basal ganglia of a factory worker, extraterrestrial sounds from ancient wars off far planets, and familiar vocals that provide as much curse as comfort in an emergent 21st century sound.
Sonically it is pieced together aloft an undercurrent of emotions that one has come to expect of an aged soul. He is the latest artist signed to the Manchester based powerhouse, Modern Love. A fond friend. And a joy to behold a head of the dance floor.
