Dego has been regularly cited as a visionary in the UK scene over the past 20 years. Whether as a DJ, spinning everything from jazz, boogie, jungle, drum and bass, breakbeat, techno, hip hop, Brazilian and broken beat or as part of his live project Dego & the 2000black Family, he has carved out a reputation as one of the taste-makers of dance music in the UK.
Alexander Nut is also a man famous for his eclectic taste. His record bag contains a veritable kaleidoscope of genres, spanning everything from house and techno, to some excellent soul, disco and dub numbers. This variety is reflected in the releases on Nut’s label, Eglo Records, which features releases from artists as diverse as Floating Points, Funkineven and Henry Wu. Between the pair of them, they have an extraordinarily extensive array of tunes to play out, and we can’t wait for what they have in store.
