Andy Blake, one of London's best DJs, makes his way to Edinburgh with a bag or two full of acid, house, disco and EBM.
Andy Blake (World Unknown)
Andy Blake: thrower of World Unknown's lionized parties in Bermondsey archways and sultry pub basements in Camberwell; champion of rugged oddball analogue records (through 4 labels); standard-bearer of London rave, with punk sensibilities and an appropriate lack of seriousness.
Never any fuss surrounding releases and very little official online presence, yet with an indelibly strong reputation which preceeds him (ask one of your mates in London).
Oh, and he's an expert selector, with an open approach to records new/old/straight/weird and the benefit of a whole lot of experience DJing well minded parties with dedicated crowds.
He played last (very appropriately) for Wasabi Disco a few years ago, and we're delighted to have Andy back up to Sneaks.
Yer man Percy Main on the warm-up yo (it's been a while).
File alongside Andrew Weatherall & Jane Fitz.
As usual - red lights, rotary mixer, delay pedal and a strong set of vibes.
