Heels & Souls and Mavrik once again join forces for another night of soulful sounds at Of the Cuff, one of South East London's best kept secrets. The charismatic multi-purpose venue will play host to live music in its ornamented front room before moving proceedings into the back room, where a weighty custom-built soundsystem and lighting rig will keep the party bopping.
The charity we're raising money for will be the Brixton Soup Kitchen & Support Centre. Since launching the service in 2013, Solomon Smith and his fantastic team have provided a warm, friendly space with a cup of tea or hot food for anyone who needs it. Currently, they're working towards becoming an all-round support centre - with job searching support, advice on benefits & housing, and a night shelter. We're really excited to be raising money for such inspiring project.
TICKETS: £4 / £6 / More OTD
All money raised + 50% of the BF will be donated to charity.
THE LINE UP:
Sean P (Extended Set)
Sean P is one of the greatest fountains of knowledge on Soul, Disco and Jazz that London has to offer. Years manning the fort at the various music and video exchanges in London and a record collection second to none, mean that this guy has selections for daaaays! Most known for his ever brilliant compilations with Joey Negro on both Z Records and BBE, Sean deserves recognition in the spotlight and after delivering one of THE sets of Love International Festival this summer we can’t wait to see what he pulls out for his 3 hour set.
Prepare to be schooled!
Project Karnak (Live):
It’s amazing to think how many incredible groups have emerged out of the South London jazz scene over the past few years. Project Karnak are one of the latest manifestations from this evergreen scene.
The brainchild of Dominic Canning and Sam Ouissellat (Triforce) , alongside Alex Blake on guitar and Martin J Stephens on bass, their raw energy and spirited take on jazz has gained them plaudits from the likes of Worldwide FM, coupled with a debut gig for Jazz Re:Freshed and the release of their first e.p. We’re super excited to have them play and can guarantee that this is worth the ticket price alone!

BodyMoves is a DJ, beatmaker and one half of Shapes Of Rhythm, an exciting new label based in South London. 2017 saw the release of Carino, Mark's most ambitious release to date, which has garnered support from the likes of BBC 6 Music and Gilles Peterson. An 18 track beat tape that contains a diverse mixture of beats crafted over the last four years. This dust coated voyage draws on global inspirations and rhythms, taking cues from South America, Europe, Asia and Africa, classic soul, jazz, funk, library music and obscure TV audio into a 28 minute long beat journey. BodyMoves will perform tracks from Carino as well as new material and some live jamming- this one's gunna be special!
Harry Jones & Kitt Munro (Live):
These two have long been favourites of ours, regardless of the incarnation of band they’ve been in. Having played in a variety of groups together, Harry and Kitt are now channeling their chemistry into material as a duo. Combining Harry’s love of all things synth based with Kitt’s presence on the guitar, they’ve tied these elements together with the use of drum machines to create a sound that’s way greater than the sum of its parts.
