SpAceLex from Camp Cosmic and Club Cosmic (Sameheads) and Tom Bolas from Dancing For Mental Health (Sameheads) joining forces to deliver two rooms of music, both electronic and disco-centric.
On the main floor:
We are happy to present to you 2 exciting LIVE acts with Novo Line and Aufgang B, as well as DJ sets by Frankfurt's Philip Berg, Dresden's Dieter Flegel and last, but not least spAceLex himself.
Novo Line performs LIVE with the help of lots of hardware, a mixing desk and two old Atari ST desktop computers, setting himself apart from most other LIVE acts you see today. Expect a very unique performance.
Philip Berg DJs all over Germany and Europe, from Salon des Amateurs to Robert Johnson to his local parties in Frankfurt. You don't see him playing in Berlin too often, though. Don't miss this rare chance to see him play his unique take on atmospheric electronic music.
Dieter Flegel is the wave and electronic music moniker of a very familiar face from the Sameheads circles and one of Dresden's (if not all of Germany's) finest diggers, DJs and producers. The man has, over many years, amassed one of the finest record collections around and we are lucky to have him on board for this party.
SpAceLex, one of the organisers of the Camp Cosmic festival and the man behind the Club Cosmic nights at Sameheads, as well as one half of both, OTTO and Aufgang B and the brain behind Mond Musik and Eine Welt labels, should be familiar to most in Berlin.
Over in the bar room, we are showcasing two great guest acts:
Les Diplomates (a DJ duo aka Mambo Chick and Jean Toussaint) from the Geneva region are two of the deepest diggers around when it comes to African, Caribbean and outernational music. Both of them frequently travel to far corners of the world like West Africa, the Caribbean or Costa Rica to unearth new records on original vinyl and are very good at presenting them to crowds all around Europe and even Canada.
Bærnd Anders, as part of Berlin's Wet Delights crew and a regular fixture at Camp Cosmic, should also need no introduction. He has been making his mark with legendary DJ sets alongside his friend Wahid Paradis, who he often plays B2B with. Outernational, otherwordly, rare as hen's teeth deep disco cuts from Europe and around the world define his style. A true digger of the deepest disco.
Warming up the disco floor is Tom Bolas, one of the folks behind the Dancing For Mental Health party series at Sameheads.
