Analog Soul, one of New York's best kept secrets, will show how deep their crates go at this all-night gig.
If you’ve been in New York for a minute, you probably know twin sisters Jacquelyn and Kathryn Smith (aka Jacky Sommer and DatKat) as the selectors behind the long-running East Village Radio show Analog Soul. The show ended in 2009, but their dedication to exploring dance music’s deeper terrain hasn’t waned. They’re mainstays of New York’s dance underground, and tonight they guide us into the recesses of house, Detroit techno, acid, electro and beyond.

Indoors at Nowadays is a gathering place with an amazing analog soundsystem and wood dance floor. The room was dreamt up and brought into being by the Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday guys.
We're on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We throw parties on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and we do immersive listening sessions called Planetarium on Sundays. In mid-January we'll open with food, drinks and good tunes playing on the hi-fi pretty much every day of the year.
Thursdays are free, and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays have a cover charge. If you're tight on dough but wanna join us, you can buy early bird tickets here on RA, or you can RSVP for reduced or free entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
