Mark Grusane is a veteran DJ, a deep digger, a go-to source for DJs looking to pick up rare gems in Chicago (he was the co-owner of Chicago’s beloved Mr. Peabody Records). Chairman Mao is devout collector, also a veteran jock, a heavyweight music journalist (doing amazing interviews with tons of legends), and has feathers in his cap from being editor of the beloved hip-hop heyday mag, Ego Trip, and a resident at the hallowed early aughts nightlife spot, APT. Tonight we’ve invited them both to unleash their formidable collections on the ’days’ dance floor. Show up ready to dance — and learn a thing or two, too.

Indoors at Nowadays is a gathering place with an amazing analog soundsystem and wood dance floor. The room was dreamt up and brought into being by the Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday guys.
We're on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We throw parties on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and we do immersive listening sessions called Planetarium on Sundays. In mid-January we'll open with food, drinks and good tunes playing on the hi-fi pretty much every day of the year.
Thursdays are free, and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays have a cover charge. If you're tight on dough but wanna join us, you can buy early bird tickets here on RA, or you can RSVP to get in for free before midnight on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
