If you're not aware of just how good Roman Flügel is, check out our recent Art Of DJing interview with the German DJ. Rest assured, this edition of Pretty Pretty Good is in safe hands.

We're still in shock that we've actually managed to pull this one off! Following on from our first Hope Works party of 2018, with Gerd Janson, Young Marco and DEBONAIR, we're back again with another dream lineup. Roman Flügel is a man who needs very little introduction and is, quite simply, one of the biggest names in the German electronic music scene. Active since the early 1990's, he's a truly chameleonic figure known for visiting styles from across the ambient, IDM, house, techno, electro and leftfield spectrums as well as for his remixes for the likes of Daft Punk, The Human League, Primal Scream, Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue. Whether playing at Offenbach’s Robert Johnson, Ibiza's Amnesia or Berlin’s Berghain / Panorama Bar, his sets forge a unique path through 20 years of contemporary music, from bleeping house and quirky techno to futuristic Italo-disco and electronica devoid of all provenance. Trust us when we say that this one is going to be very very special! He's joined by a PPG favourite in Hessle Audio's Pangaea, who'll be closing the warehouse for us in his usual uncompromising fashion, while our good friends Front & Back will be taking the reigns in Mesters with one of the hottest properties around at the moment in Hotflush Recordings' mercurial Or:la. Support comes from Smorsli, Yak and Big Bear. Dress to sweat!
