The Council takes over the rooftop carpark at 6001 Beach Road with a guest that is sure to make the night one for the books. Join us beneath the beautiful sunset, as HUNEE lays down some impeccable records mixed with delirious spirit for his Singapore debut.
Korean-born Berliner Hun Choi, better known as HUNEE, has developed a reputation as an exceptionally talented DJ with uncommonly deep crates, open ears, and nimble fingers; not only willing to venture from disco to house to techno and back again, with the skills to do so convincingly all in a single set, HUNEE has earned his keep as a name to watch in the underground music scene.
Having previously worked in a record store in Berlin that specialized in Funk and Soul, Hunee extended his unquenchable enthusiasm for music. As a DJ, HUNEE manifested himself as a fine connoisseur of classic and contemporary music. Always smiling with an energy that is nothing but infectious, he is on a mission to share every fine record he finds with the world.
Over the past few years, HUNEE the producer has put out some highly acclaimed EPs. He kicked off his recording career in 2009 with the Tour de Force EP for W.T. Records, and a handful of releases and compilation tracks on labels like Prins Thomas' Internasjonal, the renowned Berghain-related Ostgut Ton, and his debut album, “Hunch Music” a heady collection of cosmic cuts released on Amsterdam's Rush Hour followed.
Don’t miss a night of pure musical joy as HUNEE brings his signature delicious flavour of disco, house and techno-fuelled heat to tear up the dancefloor.
