Sean B has been DJing in New York for over 20 years, serenading dance floors in some of the city's most esteemed clubs and, as one of the minds behind Spank and Xanadude, some of its best lofts, too. Tad Haes' love affair with nightlife goes back to his teenage years in Brazil. In 2009, he relocated to NYC and co-founded Occupy the Disco soon thereafter. He and Sean joined forces a couple years back with visual wizard Deputy to create Powerhouse. The night channeled their shared love of acid house, rave and broken beat into a party that is "positively queer and 100% for the dancers." Get ready to leave it all on the floor tonight.

Indoors at Nowadays is a gathering place with an amazing analog soundsystem and wood dance floor. The room was dreamt up and brought into being by the Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday guys.
We're on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood, and we've got a full bar and kitchen. We throw parties on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and we do immersive listening sessions called Planetarium on Sundays.
We have a cover charge after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and after 6pm on Sundays. Aside from that, it's free to come hang. If you want to join us on a weekend night, but you're a little tight on dough, you can buy early bird tickets here on RA, or RSVP for reduced or free entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
