We are extraordinary proud to announce one of the planet’s most popular DJs John Digweed to play in Denmark for the first time in nearly 15 years.
Some DJ careers are built on hype. John Digweed’s career is built on substance. In a dance scene increasingly inhabited by inflated egos and gimmicks, John’s approach remains all drive, no drama, a heads-down crack-on attitude that has won him the respect of his peers. However, the fact remains that John Digweed has notched up a mighty list of groundbreaking achievements and it’s little surprise he was voted No.1 DJ in the World by DJmag readers in 2001. His Transitions radio show is one of the world’s most successful dance music shows, broadcast across 45 countries to a staggering weekly audience of over 14 million. Not to forget about his record label Bedrock that is considered one of the finest outlets for innovative club music.
Digweed is supported by Tim Andresen. He is the founder of the What Happens label and co-owns the UK-based Savoir Faire Musique. Tim is also responsible for releases on labels like Re:FreshYourMind, Younan Music, Ready Mix Records and others. DJing has now taken him to 40 different countries across Europe, Asia and South America and his musical talents have not gone unnoticed and resulted in him landing the “Best DJ” award at Club Awards, and “Most Popular Nordic DJ” by Megamind.
Ian Bang from CPH Deep is playing in Red Box. Widely regarded one of the capital's finest track selectors, Ian always put on a show to remember. He is joined by NIM Sound's dynamic duo Kasper Stub and Only Ollie.
This is special and we kindly advice everyone to buy the tickets in advance.
