Classic Album Sundays Berlin
In March Classic Album Sundays Berlin will be featuring Nick Cave’s 10th studio album `The Boatman’s Call`, a piano based album which serves as a departure from his usual post punk sound. The album is widely regarded as one of his finest works. Join us to immerse yourself in this beautiful album and to discuss how post-punk’s prince of darkness wound up making a record as heartfelt as `The Boatman’s Call`.
5:00pm listening session
Christine Kakaire and Leonie Puettmann will provide the musical context and tell the story behind `The Boatman´s Call`. This is followed by an uninterrupted vinyl replay of the album. We are also doing a little raffle this time so one lucky winner will take home a vinyl copy of the album.
