Good Room presents...
Rex the Dog (live)
Love Tempo with
Justin Strauss & Billy Caldwell
in the Bad Room
Rex The Dog makes and performs music with analogue electronics and a self-built Modular Synthesizer. He carries this precious machinery around the world, bringing his idiosyncratic sounds to packed crowds at the best clubs, festivals and parties. In the last 18 months this has included everywhere from Berlin’s hallowed Panorama Bar, to an intimate pop up gig in a Barcelona record store. Rex has released on Kompakt Records since his first EP ‘Prototype’ in 2004, as well as Kitsuné and Southern Fried.
He returns to Good Room where he'll be playing with Will Saul. Will Saul has been at the cutting edge of electronic music for nearly 20 years. He is the man behind Aus Music and head of A&R at !K7 where he curates the DJ Kicks series. As an artist in his own right his music and remixes have been critically acclaimed and seen him featured on the cover of DJ magazine and helm the Essential mix for Radio 1. Will has been trusted to remix a diverse range of incredible artists from Little Dragon to Kelis via Pearson Sound and Fink and has released many singles, EPs and full length records (on labels such as Kompakt and !K7 as well his own). Rex The Dog and Will Saul will be joined by Max Pask on warm up. Justin Strauss & Billy Caldwell are taking over the Bad Room for their monthly Love Tempo party.
