Sold is a part of the crew behind Hugo Ball, a monthly, Dada-influenced, all-walks-of-life party at Chicago's Smart Bar. She's got a finesse for spellbinding house and techno, which she'll share alongside Beta Librae and DJ Python tonight. Kansas-born DJ and producer Beta Librae creates bewitching, dreamlike house, ambient and downtempo tracks. She's got a full length dropping this month on Incienso. DJ Python is Brian Piñeyro (and also DJ Wey and DJ Xanax and Luis and a bunch of other names). He's an NYC-based DJ and producer who serves a unique blend of reggaeton and techno. Peep his excellent debut album, Dulce Compañia (also on good ol' Incienso), for an introduction. He'll DJ and play live tonight.

Nowadays is an indoor and outdoor gathering place on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. We've got a full bar, a kitchen, a nice sound system, a wood dance floor and lots of trees and house plants.

Most of the time, it's free to come to Nowadays, but we do have a cover for some of our nighttime events. If there's a cover but you're a little tight on dough, you can buy early bird tickets here on RA, or RSVP for reduced entry on Fridays and Saturdays at http://nowadays.nyc/rsvp
