On May 19th at The Flinders Hotel, Undulate returns for another deep dive into the murky waters where techno, electro, breakbeat, industrial, and electronica intersect. Featuring two rooms of music, UK sensation Hodge (Livity Sound) headlines, supported by Sydney’s finest purveyors of bleeding edge, underground music.

“I’ll release what I want” – Thanks to his cavalier attitude toward genre boundaries, Bristol-based Hodge has earned a reputation as one of the most interesting and unique artists in techno. With releases on labels such as Livity Sound, Punch Drunk Recordings, Immerse, and Deadplate, Hodge has developed and finessed a sound that blends elements of techno, garage, dubstep, drum & bass, and house. His sets and productions are full of throbbing basslines, chunky beats, heady atmospherics, nuanced sound design, and intelligent interpretations of numerous influences. It’s a unique melting pot and distinctly UK in flavour.
