Come see why Objekt makes all other techno DJs look lazy.
Kim Ann Foxman
Ondo / Gusto (Hot Mass/Detour)
in the Bad Room
Kim Ann Foxman's Firehouse residency returns to Good Room in May with special guest, Objekt. The Berlin-based artist has garnered an enviable reputation for attention to detail, evocative arrangements and inventive, effervescent sound design, coaxing sonic features from the most unlikely of places. His output draws as much from Autechre, golden-era Warp and brittle, frenetic electro as it does from classic and contemporary house and techno, early dubstep, noise and experimental electronics. His DJ sets, while broadly focused on techno, frequently duck and dive between the hypnotic and engrossing, drawing fully from the last 30 years of recorded electronic music.
Kim Ann Foxman will also being playing, bringing her high-energy house and techno to the dancefloor. Hot Mass resident and Detour Records label head Ondo / Gusto will be headlining the Bad Room. His transformative DJ sets express both his love for electronic music and his urban/soulful roots. He will be joined by local Rachel Noon (W.A.S.P.S) who illuminates the cinematic landscapes of electronic music.
