+ Witness Residents
Witness is proud to bring you Jamz Supernova...
As one of the leading next generation DJ's in the UK, JAMZ SUPERNOVA has passion for her craft in abundance.
Her skill of being able to select the right tracks - not just the most popular tracks but ones that can make a difference - was quickly discovered by community London radio station Reprezent, who offered her a show.
Hear Jamz Supernova on BBC Radio 1Xtra every Tuesday night from 11pm as she brings you the latest in 'Future RnB', and each Saturday and Sunday from 1pm.
Jamz Supernova has steadily carved a reputation through her radio and DJ work as having an outstanding ear for new tracks and nurturing talent, for which her own club residency 'Future Bounce' has become the go-to spot, featuring the cream of under-the-radar talent alongside underground heavyweights such as Swindle, Nightwave, Branko, Jarreau Vandal, Ozzie, Joe Hertz, Brasstracks, Sh?m, Wize and Gravez. Alongside the club residency Jamz' hosts regular exclusive Future Bounce 'Live' specials flying in International acts for their debut UK headline shows, including Mac Ayers, Gabriel Garzon Montana and Kamau.
Her decision to champion her own unique blend of Bass, House & Alternative R&B to the UK has resulted in Jamz performing at a variety of prestigious venues and events across the country, including The V&A & Tate Museum, London's Sketch, as well as fashion events for Adidas, G-Star, Lee Cooper, Oxjam, Lacoste Live, CAT's Camilla Walala Collection Launch and H&M Pop Up store. Her hard work hasn't gone unnoticed - with RAYE, Jack Garrett, Sam Gellaitry, Dornik, Mykki Blanco, Mick Jenkins, Little Simz and DJ Semtex all inviting Jamz to warm up for them on various shows.
Her ability to lead and direct important conversations surrounding sensitive issues such as women in music has seen her chair and moderate a range of industry panels and keynote speeches for BRICK Mag, Bristol Women in Music and Nations of Billions.
