The Chicago House Music Festival will take place in Millennium Park over Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 26th.
Chicago's cultural affairs department has produced a number of free house music events in the park in recent years. This one has plenty of high-profile DJs playing at the sprawling Jay Pritzker Pavilion and two other stages.
A number of events are set to happen ahead of the festival as well, with the nearby Chicago Cultural Center an epicenter of activity. The offerings there will include a Chicago House Music Conference on Thursday and Friday, house dance classes, and a dance demonstration at a Keith Haring exhibition.
