Peter Invasion // Riotvan
Pardon Moi // Olympe fatale, Höga Nord Rekords
Carolain Luf // Olympe fatale, NEIN Records
Here's not much to say about Peter Invasion - DJ and promoter, booking agent and label owner, curator and catalyser, established Riotvan single-handed in 2006. Starting as series of events, growing up to a record label and booking agency. Maybe you know him already as drummer of the band Here Is Why. He was playing in several clubs and parties like Berghain Panoramabar, Gewoelbe, Watergate, Bob Beaman, Studio 80 or in Copenhagen, Novosibirsk, Palma De Mallorca to name but a few…. This guy is off to explore the world. We may be wound up to a high pitch.
Berlin based Pardon Moi, consisting of James Brook and Thomas Freudenthal, makes music that would fit perfect as a soundtrack for a ride in a Ferrari GTO convertible, or on a transatlantic flight on a Concorde.Swiftly bursting into the electronic scene in 2016, the duo managed to release a couple of EPs and singles on Nein Records and Emerald & Doreen Recordings and then drew the attention of one of the most interesting and diverse European labels - Gothenburg based Höga Nord Records.
Pardon Moi’s sound is warm, creative, uplifting and retro thanks to the use of analogue synthesisers. The musical direction is toward the future. An utopia built in a world where the 90s never happened. This is retro futuristic dance music, but the music doesn’t stop with being only nostalgic but holds qualities that would make any actor within any scene of modern electronic dance music envy.
Carolain Luf is a sublime technician behind the decks since 2010. She is known for fluent and dynamic sets, which span from disco to techno. And then of course, there’s her inimitable energy, an infectious joy and ability to connect with the room.
Her productions are diverse and released on various labels such Midnight Riot Records, Nein Records, Gruuv and Suara. We're pleased to welcome her for our Olympe Series.
