Izabel (Australia) 7PM - 10PM
Spearhead of Lullabies for Insomniacs.
She runs the label out of Amsterdam, where she is a resident at De School, and hosts a monthly show on Red Light Radio. The sun will be gone when she takes place in the sofa, so beware of all the moving shadows ...
Milan W (Belgium) !!LIVE SHOW!! 6PM - 7PM
A synthitude of dream club music.
Milan Warmoeskerken is a young composer and instrumentalist from Antwerp swimming around big circles crossing paths with JJ Funhouse, Ultra Eczema, Mittland Och Leo, Ekster, Flying Horseman, Roman Hiele, … His music recalls sweet memories of early Warp and Rephlex classics (think early Autechre, Bochum Welt,...). At the moment his productions feel less krauty and much more UK but most importantly definitely his. He is currently enjoying the Red Bull Music academy in Berlin, making tracks with Mike Banks but on sunday he’ll be playing a strictly healing live show for us. Stoked!
Captain Starlight (Belgium) 12AM - 3PM
Journalist and sound selector.
Ewald Dupan has been collecting records since as long as we can remember, and in the spirit of his 7a.m. set at Meakusma Festival last summer he’s recently been lining them up with incredible ease. When not listening and playing, he lends his mind and his pen to researching and writing about experimental sounds from the 1960s til our day and age for Stroom records and several other publications. No specific genres will be mentioned here as the list is too long.
Islas (UK)& Walrus (Belgium) 3PM -6PM
Visual artist, researcher and publisher.
Label Owner, Researcher and Producer.
Ailsa Cavers is an artist masquerading as a graphic designer (dressel.design) masquerading as an air traffic controller. She runs the archival music project Basic Moves alongside Michiel Claus.
Walrus is not afraid to unbalance and dislocate his audience, building up a quirky tension that is as serious as it is open-minded. His music is an appeal to the power of the imagination to hold back the night, to charm motorways and to surf on beta waves.
