Étienne de Crécy is a quiet but nevertheless major DJ and producer in the international electro world. In 20 years of producing, Lyon born, Étienne de Crécy has created some of the most significant electronic music albums of all time.
His first album Superdiscount was groundbreaking. Considered by many as the first album to coin the term 'The French Touch', a unique style of French house music, Superdiscount went on to sell over 200,000 copies. Staple hits 'Prix Choc' and 'Super Disco' (feat. Alex Gopher) became overnight classics.
Further top albums: Pansoul (with Philipe Zdar of Cassius, under Motorbass), Tempovision and Superdiscount 2 stapled his influence in electronic music's hall of fame.
He is also the creator of 30 EPs and 40 remixes for the likes of Kraftwerk, Air, Moby, or Lil’ Louis. Well known for his eclecticism and efficiency of his productions, Étienne de Crécy is also a DJ enthusiast and a cult hero amongst his fans. His live Beats’n’Cubes show became a world reference for live electronic music performances.
