Oiii, Lobster Boy records head honcho, Redlight, is bringing his sensational concept party Ice Cream Jungle to Hangar on the 12th of October. The Ice Cream Jungle is all about attitude filled unapologetic dance music and inspiring homeboys (and gals!) who have motivated him to keep pushing and evolving his wavey gang vision. This highly contagious movement has filled the venues and festivals to max capacity across the country. The next one is Hangar, the rave warehouse with booming sound system right at the heart of Hackney. Imagine inflatable ice creams bouncing to bass and everyone going nuts to Redlight’s ‘Basscone’ or ‘Ride That Thing’ or new exclusive unreleased bangers… It’s a whole new thrilling level, attending is mandatory!
Redlight was brought up around 90’s warehouse rave culture in Bristol and his music and career has spanned over a decade. He always works towards the aim of being true to himself and making the most of any opportunities and creating music and this has been central to everything he has done, drawing inspiration from street culture, independence and productivity. He has proven time and time again that he is one of the most well rounded selectors in the scene and is bringing an exciting line-up to Hangar this October.
The London based DJ, producer and Bingo Bass label boss, DJ Zinc, is known for pioneering new styles and consistently redefining his sound. He carries a fast and loose approach when DJing, he’ll go from dropping the latest girly tune to a fat wobble number to a dark monster without missing a beat. Zinc’s selection is always
surprising – often even to himself. The amazing ability to jump effortlessly between musical genres is reflected in his production as well. This has earned him both, underground and commercial hits across UK garage, drum and bass, breakbeat and house.
