SHALL NOT FADE (BIO):
Shall Not Fade founder KGW took inspiration for the imprint’s name from the poetic prose of a William Shakespeare sonnet, but it was his decision to champion the music of then little-known deep house producer Mall Grab that really put the label on the map. The Australian has since gone on to become one of the most in-demand DJs and producers on the planet, helping other members of the Shall Not Fade family – LK, Steven Be Calm, Aries and Adriyano amongst them– to successfully follow in his wake.
Since launching in December 2015, Shall Not Fade has been delivering music that inspires happiness, dancing and spreading love throughout the world. In the process, the Bristol-based label has birthed a growing family of like-minded producers and DJs whose frequent musical missives have touched the head, heart and soul of music lovers the world over.
The label’s underground success story is built not on hollow hype, but rather releasing high quality electronic music that expresses all that is good about house and techno music in the 21stcentury. As a result, KGW has been able to add a swathe of more experienced names –think Rick Wade, Hanna, Nicholas and Pascal Viscardi, for starters – to the label’s bulging roster of artists, encouraging his younger talents to exchange ideas with these respected masters of their art.
