De La Swing
It’s been a successful year for Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars imprint. After winning Best Breakthrough Label for DJ Mag's 2018 Best of North America awards, Lee returns to London with a wealth of artists who are currently part of the evolving story behind Repopulate Mars.
Founder of two prolific imprints, Lee Foss is a name synonymous with both Hot Creations and Repopulate Mars, becoming one of the most well-known selectors from Chicago’s house and disco community. Despite being based in L.A, the producer has gained a strong following throughout the UK, Europe and North America with shows in New York, Brazil, Columbia and Dublin along the way. Always keen to shine a light on up-and-coming talent with chunky releases on his label and Repopulate Mars Radio show, Lee touches down in London with a mix of handpicked producers for the showcase.
Latmun joins Lee as a special guest after the release of his ‘Summer Starter’ [Repopulate Mars] EP out on August 5th. A charismatic artist who blends coherent energy with infectious grooves, the Nottingham based producer is one of the most consistent artists on the UK soundscape with productions on Relief Records, Hot Creations and VIVa Limited amongst others.
As one of the UK’s most well-known talents in house music, Josh Butler fits the bill with an amalgam of bass heavy tracks under his belt, both on his own imprint Origins Rcrds and Defected, 8bit, Poker Flat Recordings and more. Adding a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix to a list of weighty achievements, Butler’s career is currently following a steady upward trajectory.
Nathan Barato has played multiple times at the club and has worked each room with a delectable library of infectious melodies and is set to compliment the sounds of Lee, Latmun and Josh ’til late.
Elrow resident De La Swing joins the crew with a string of vibrant of cuts, some of which include his own on Elrow Music, ABODE and Future Soundz. A selector who always impacts the dance floor with an elastic sound, the Spanish producer makes a welcome return to the club.
CAAL and Ben Sterling complete the line-up as individual artists who are in the midst of carving a long-running career in music with a string of shows in London, Ibiza and Serbia between them.
