O’Flynn has been catching everyones eye since his early release... the bass rolling “Mantle”. Since then he has been turning heads with his extensive musical talent and his mixed genre output with the likes of Tyrion, Desmond's Empire and Tru Dancing, all gaining heaps of appraise. With O'Flynn playing an extended set, this is not one to miss! We’ve expected nothing but the best from this artist
with him getting heralded from the likes of Four Tet and Giles Peterson!
Al Zanders first came on to the scene with his remix of Fela Kuti, under the alias 'Lodger'. Since then, the young DJ and producer has gone from strength to strength, selling thousands of records worldwide and playing all accross the UK, America and Japan, as well as the Dimensions and Gottwood festivals. In 2016 Al started his own label, the appropriately named A-Z Records, which has already seen two releases, incuding a remix of local Sheffield band Hot Diamond Aces. Known for his eclectic and energetic sets, Zanders is quickly building up a strong following amongst the press, music enthusiasts and dancers alike. He has the rare ability to go between many musical cultures and genres with ease, captivating and surprising the audience with every turn.
Fusing house, garage and a myriad of UK bass and urban flavours into his sound, Alex Session is emerging as one of dance music’s most promising rising stars.
With the sounds of the ‘90s dance music he grew up on providing the foundations of his style — from golden age hip-hop, garage and jungle to crossover anthems — his fusion of the past and the present is winning him plaudits from the likes of Radio 1 and 1Xtra lynchpins Annie Mac and Mistajam. With a classy remix of Zara Macfarlane for Brownswood, a soulful debut release on Four40 Records and a brand new EP, his music gets get ears pricking up far and wide. “I want to make honest music that always has soul” he says, “whether it’s hard and bassy or chilled. I want to work with guest vocalists and MCs that catch my ear and have some potential.“ Its the balance between accessibility and the underground that really drives the feel of his tracks.
