D.R.O.P is back for Session Two, and this time we are embracing our inner disco heroes for an all night house music rave (what else?).
Once again, expect to dance all night long to a thumping house beat and celebrate all that the genre stands for: respect, love and togetherness. Let’s champion freedom of expression and celebrate diversity.
This time, we are throwing in a smattering of glitter, fun and and a whole load of games (you need to be there to believe it).
Music is made for dancing, and everybody is equal on the dancefloor. Welcome to our House.
Following sold out gigs across London at Fabric, Oval Space and The Roundhouse, the British Disco and House heroes are finally back in Barcelona with a bang. They’ve done ElRow, Glitterbox, Brunch Elektronic and Love International to name but a few, and have shared the booth with the likes of Jeremy Underground, Honey Dijon and Todd Terje in the last few months alone. Head-honcho Danielle will be bringing all her glorious magic with her and playing throbbing underground house beats and shimmering disco in a glorious 2-hour set. The team’s unrelenting love for fusing soul, disco and house has taken the nu-disco scene by storm. They have remixed for everyone from Kanye West and Sam Sparro to Kink and Soul Clap. On a Funktion One soundsytem we are damn excited for this dance extravaganza. Not to be missed!
Tim Ross & Bahri Djinn B2B
Tim Ross: The London based DJ is back in Barcelona after turning Atipico upside-down back in September (for a second time) alongside Bahri Djinn.
Tim has over 20 years experience and is a mainstay on the London scene. He is known for his unique sets which seamlessly mix between house, disco, soul, Afro, and breaks, creating a playful environment on the dance floor. He frequently heads up legendary venues & festivals such as Gottwood, Glastonbury, Shoreditch Platform, 93 Feat East, and Ministry of Sound to name a few.
Tim has also recently set up the Dirty Laundry collective which includes incredible artists and will be bringing love and high energy back to the dance floor.
Bahri Djinn declares himself a ‘citizen of the world’: residing in Italy with a German passport and an unrelenting love of travel, this is a DJ who has entertained crowds across the world with his dance-ready sets. More recently he has settled in Italy and is a member of the ‘Riviera Gang’ who have hosted the likes of Denis Sulta, Derrick May and Lil’ Louis. Impressive, we know.
They collaborate to form a dream team, and will leave you smiling ear-to-ear with this special B2B.
Beniso: Back once again with his thumping house beats to warm up the night. The Parisian-born turned Londoner is now based in Barcelona. Starting the night as it should be with bassy beats and uplifting funk.
