Sully, The Librarian, DJ Madd, Durban, Anna Morgan b2b Beat Kitty b2b Bell Curve
Our next Worst Behavior event brings legendary snare manipulator Sully all the way from the UK. Sully’s productions are constant faves, from earlier garage-tinged anthems to his more recent melodic breaks scorchers like ‘X + Y’. No one does arpeggiated breaks better than man like Sully, in addition to being one of the finest producers to lay his hands on an amen, Sully is also a top-notch selector. This will be a treat!
Canadian bass stalwart The Librarian, founder of Basscoast festival, will light up the dance floor with her delightful blends of grime, dubstep, halftime, and more (basically all the good bass sounds). A steady selector with the dancers in mind, her recent NYC debut with Worst Behavior wowed us all and she’s been gracious enough to return to school us.
DJ Madd returns to Worst Behavior with his energetic roots-influenced halftime sound. Roots & Future label boss is an expert in making infectious bass tracks of all genres, pulling together samples from reggae & dub with vibey melodies and bending basslines.
Reppin’ Chicago’s Teklife & London’s Lit City Trax, we also have Durban on this one. This South London producer has been holding it down in the BK underground since the legendary Lit City Raves. A true artist, his sets skillfully weave a tapestry of international urban dance textures, sharing his roots through garage, grime and jungle and his interests in evolving sounds like footwork, gqom, and trap. A real DJs DJ.
NYC-based selector Beat Kitty will be joining Anna Morgan & Bell Curve for a bass-y b3b. Beat Kitty is a Brooklyn bass producer & artist with a penchant for taking crowds on epics journeys through all the flavors and feels of bass music. This full spectrum selectress has been known to melt brains and literally light fires on dancefloors. We are excited to share the decks with this powerhouse.
