Resident on Red Light Radio as well as Garage Noord in Amsterdam, Merel ticks the checklist of newcomers from Amsterdam who transcend genres, eras and bpm to design hardy sets. An elegant dance music, halfway between psychedelic and energy, industrial, wave, electro, trance and tribalism, sometimes fast, often downtempo. Accustomed to Dekmantel, Positive Education and other famous festival to give place to the most marginal views, Merel is one of the major artists of the revival of the Dutch scene, like her relatives Identified Patient, Job Sifre or Mark Knekelhuis.
