Pre Silent (live)
We are very excited to announce the next Unmasked date and the first of 2019.
Saturday, March 16th we return to Electrowerkz, hosting Berghain / Panorama Bar regular, known as an Italian techno activist since the '90s, with an assaulting 4-hour vinyl only closing set. Playing an energetic 360° - style of techno, sets that are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. Notorious all over the world for his uncompromising long musical performances to the sounds of vinyl alone: Freddy K.
Alongside Freddy K, there will be the founder of 000011010 collective - Pre Silent, delivering a smashing and abrasive live performance and Claus Fuss bringing his driving-hypnotic techno sound.
✚ Freddy K: techno activist. Since the ‘90s Alessio Armeni has been tireless campaigning from the dancefloor, defending vinyl, championing young talents and reinforcing the scene from the shadows. You will know him best for his marathon DJ sets and deviant selections. You might recognise him as the head of KEY Vinyl, or for the backstage role, he played at M_Rec, the label he helped run with best friend Max_M. You should definitely know about Virus, the thing that started it all off for him back in Rome.
Moving to Berlin reignited Freddy K’s teenage infatuation with rave. He soon fell in with Homopatik, the former monthly gay event at ://about blank. He became notorious for his epic 10, 14 and 16 hour-long sessions there, playing always strictly vinyl and in a dynamic, party conscious fashion. Freddy K sets are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. He plays a “360°-style of techno,” which can include Soft Cell, WestBam or Bronski Beat—when the timing is just right. He played his first Berghain set in 2013; two years later he was closing the place, keeping the energy levels soaring well into Monday. The last 20 minutes, he says, are the most important. So be sure to stick around till the very end.

✚ Claus Fuss is a classically trained musician, composer and techno producer.
After moving to London where he completed his Master's Degree in contemporary classical composition under the renowned Prof. Christopher Fox, Claus Fuss set up his London based music studio developing his own approach to minimal music.
He co-created the Zed Bias live techno show as well as co-founded the live techno duo OneOneOne in collaboration with DJ Klose One. In 2016 the first vinyl release on their eponymously named label sold out in less than one month.
With their tracks variously described as “Seven minute techno epics'” and “hard-hitting club bangers” (Bleep2016) the first release 'A' has become something of an underground anthem across house and techno sets in the UK and worldwide.
The long-awaited debut on Khemia Records called “Static Ace” has been released on vinyl as a split EP with Broken English Club in December 2017. Described as “hard-as-nails four-on-floor”, Fuss uses minimal aesthetics as a concept in order to create “a piece of potent dancefloor goodness” (Bleep 2017).
Beside his UK and Europe wide live performances with OneOneOne and Zed Bias, and his regular DJ sets at the London Techno Dome Kaos, Claus Fuss is currently touring with his solo live techno performance.
