Shimon’s legacy is as old as drum and bass. From the early nineties, he’d stooped himself in the world of electronic music, exploring renowned venues such as London’s classic Astoria.
Tracks like Quest, Titan, Hush Hush, Body Rock and Crossbow were not just vital for Shimon’s ascent, but also for the expansion of drum and basses engineering. Whilst Quest and the infamous radio smasher Body Rock saw him collaborate with Ram Records’ label boss Andy C, he also produced the likes of Titan as part of esteemed outfit Ram Trilogy, with the addition of Ant Miles alongside working with Andy C once again.
After fifteen years releasing on Ram, he began to develop the ethos behind Audioporn. Looking back at what the label has achieved over ten years, it’s easy to see this reflected in Audioporn’s output.
His influence has seeped into its every page, meaning Shimon’s identity has become synonymous with the genres... Which is why decades on, he’s still one of its key players.
Trimer allows his harder edged dance floor monsters to entertain his audience and in contrast expresses his melodic and liquid side collaborating with close friend Mark1.
Trimer's vibe and passion for the music really comes across through his energetic and explosive DJ sets. He has played a number of venues including places such as Ministry of Sound London, Cable London and Let it Roll Festival Prague.

2017 was a significant year for Shyun releasing his acclaimed Systems 10 EP and his addition to the 15 Years Of Underground Sonics album that marked a huge milestone for Critical Music. His inclusion on Critical’s Modified Sonics LP would continue the charge into 2018.
Inspired by the likes of Halogenix, Noisia, Ivy lab and Perez, there’s no doubt that the burgeoning career of Shyun is one to keep an eye on.
“Doesn’t matter if it’s a liquid tune or a club tune, drum & bass just has that unique energy that no other genre can offer.”
