Mit dem „Swimmers Groove“ tauchten die Beautiful Swimmers aus Washington DC vor zehn Jahren erst in diversen Mixen auf. Später wurden die beiden von Benjamin Fröhlich mit dem Track „Excited“ auf dessen Label Permanent Vacation gesigned, das Debüt-Album „Son“ folgte, sowie eine ganze Reihe großartiger DJ-Sets für Dekmantel oder auch Resident Advisor, wovon auch eines heute Nacht den Roten Raum eröffnen wird. Nach verschiedenen Projekten landete der Italiener Distant Echoes vor fünf Jahren beim noch recht jungen Dystopian-Label, wo er mit seinen fließenden, energetischen und natürlich recht düster gehaltenen Produktionen auf bisher vier Veröffentlichungen zurückschaut. Danach wie davor unterhält den Schwarzen Raum eine Berliner Techno-Institution: Anja Zaube und der ganz frisch auf Pan-Pots Second State gelandete Rocko Garoni. Nachdem Ejeca letztes Jahr recht exklusiv sein neues Pseudonym Trance Wax bei uns vorgestellt, und damit auch ordentlich abgerissen hat, musste der Brite einfach schnellstmöglich wieder für eines seiner DJ-Sets voller selbstgebastelter Trance-Edits gewonnen werden. Diesmal trifft er im Grünen Raum auf die Kanadierin Korea Town Acid, die als DJ wie in ihrem gleichnamigen Live-Projekt eine ebenso eklektische Soundwelt durchstreift wie auch ihre Berliner Kollegin S Ruston. On top übernimmt das Closing-Set im Roten Raum Oskar Offermann!

Ten years ago the hit- single “Swimmers Groove“ by Beautiful Swimmers from Washington DC flooded dance floors which eventually led to their track “Excited” being released on Permanent Vacation. Following their EP “Son”, the duo started to play at the biggest stages and got known for their high quality mixes for Dekmantel and Resident Advisor, putting together a little bit of everything between leftfield and house - perfect to open the Red Room this time. Downstairs Dystopian-artist Distant Echoes takes over the Black Room after Rocko Garoni, who just released on Pan-Pot’s Second State. The Green Room combines a dj-set of Canadian Korea Town Acid, who has been around with her exiting live-sets for a while, and the trance-influenced alias of Ejeca we really wanted to have with us again after the mind-blowing premiere: Trance Wax! Final dj-sets of the night go to Berlin underground techno queens Anja Zaube and S Ruston with our good old friend Oskar Offermann, who is playing the very last set in the Red Room until late noon.
