It is with incredible glee & gusto that we announce a double whammy of star acts leading the charge of our first SubClub of the year celebrating freedom, love & self-expression!! French analogue master Sweely will be treating us to a live dose of phat filters and sublime subsonic squelches, while Japanese nu disco extraordinnaire Que Sakamoto will be throwin' down his finest.
Our first and favourite SubClub of the year celebrates LBTGIQ culture and freedom of self-expression! Expect inimitable decor with an added dash of spice, a lavish and lathered up Bridge Hotel filled to the brim with costumed kink-meisters, and musical guests plus Subsonic friends and residents. The theme for this year is Rainbow Lovers vs Kink Cabaret, which should give you plenty of ideas - so get creative! It’s strictly NO COSTUME NO ENTRY for this one and a 10 dollar penalty for poor effort. We’ll be posting some costume inspirado into the event also.

French-American, 21 years old, skate nerd with heart beating on the street, Sweely began digging, from his earliest days, into a broad range of musical styles including Grunge, Rap, Hip hop, Jazz and Electro. From the start, Sweely was exploring every
musical instrument which popped into his hands, including percussions, guitars and keyboards, but the soul connection with the didgeridoo, his acoustical instrument of choice.
One of the most creative and eclectic French producers of the new generation, effortlessly navigating between house, minimal and electro, as demonstrated by his releases on La Chinerie, Distant Hawaii, SWAP WHITE LTD and Loster Theremin. And at his residency of the infamous CONCRETE club in Paris, you will find him dancing behind his TR-8 and MPC, crafting rolling and captivating music to transmit his energy and further unify the crowd towards an elegant and groovy mood.

Fusing Japanese and European folk music with disco, Que Sakamoto has created a unique electronic sound which has spread across the globe. In 2014 he debuted internationally as the first Japanese DJ to play 'Open to Last' at Milan's 65MQ, followed by shows in Berlin and Istanbul. Since then his popularity has exploded with multiple tours of Asia, Europe and America, and showcasing his Wamono (Japanese style) sets on radio shows including Napoli's 180gr, Amsterdam's Red Light Radio and Zurich's Living Room. Following the release of his tracks 'Mr. Moonlight' and 'Salaut Des Frangines' on To Rack & Ruin's (UK) Edit series, he released 'Lalo' in collaboration with NT (released on San Fransisco's Roam Recodings). Back home in Tokyo, he is leading the Nu Disco scene in Japan as a founding member of Huit Etoiles. His events, based in Omotesando's VENT, have featured internationally aclaimed artists such as LNTG, Crazy P, Psychemagik, DJ Rocca, Khidja and Mehmet Aslan and continues to attract the world's best Nu Disco DJs.
