Stardust Is Back!!
We're bringing another top line-up for our next show on June 29th!!
Late Nite Tuff Guy
Joey Negro was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples in house music when he began his production career in 1988. Indeed, he was in the studio making credible and outstanding British House music when many luminaries around him were still busy getting to grips with their decks. Little has changed since then and Dave is still widely regarded as one of the most commercially successful and in-demand artists on the global scene. A producer first and foremost, his work ethic is legendary, having been involved in well over 200 productions, countless albums and a healthy stack of hit singles with tracks such as ‘Must Be The Music’, ‘Make A Move On Me’, ‘Can’t Get High Without You’ and Jakatta’s ‘American Dream’ and ‘My Vision’. His discography is undoubtedly impressive and his deep understanding as a selector of all things soulful and house on the dancefloor have ensured his status on the global DJ circuit worldwide to this day. Joey Negro's sets reflect his extensive love of music ranging from rare disco through to vocal and classic house often into more deep, electronic and techy areas, his sets littered with exclusives, old and new.
Since exploding onto the scene a few years ago, Late Nite Tuff Guy has forged a position as one of the most in-demand and best-loved DJ/producers on the planet, with Greg Wilson rightly referring to him as “a leading light of the global re-edits movement.” A superhero of soul, a destroyer of dance floors and a purveyor of the smoothest sounds this side of 1977, LNTG is synonymous with the sexiest of sets and the most credible of disco edits, and has amassed legions of devoted fans from every corner of the globe. But while he is bossing all things digital, it’s the clubs and festivals where his heart is at, playing to the people that know and love him and winning over new fans. Aside from his usual DJ sets, he has been channelling his obsession with Prince into a series of extremely popular tribute shows, proving that he’s one of the few people on the planet who can do Prince’s discography justice.
Dr Packer has been named Traxsource’s Nu Disco / Indie Dance charts #1 artist for the second year running! With a 30 year DJ career under his belt, countless DJ awards, 5 international DJ Tours, 16 years studio experience and a record label Interphase Music, he is no stranger to the music business. In 2013 Greg began playing around with old Soul, Funk & Disco records in the studio and applying the same technique as if he was writing an original track and the results have been overwhelming to say the least. Dr Packer was born! Within months he had topped the Juno Sales charts and had been signed to labels such as Z Recordings, Disco Dat, Midnight Riot, Hot Digits, Masterworks Music, Good For You Records, Hotbox Boogie and caught the attention of big heavyweights such as Joey Negro, John Morales, Greg Wilson & Dimitri From Paris. Dr Packer is one of the worlds premier DJ's and if you witnessed one of his rambunctious sets, you know they stay with you long afterwards.
Pablo Contraband (aka Paul Budd) has been playing House music and Techno for many years, but has met greater success over recent years, since turning his attention to Funk, Soul and Disco and implementing these styles into his sets too. He has stuck to his guns defining himself as a DJ first and foremost with little interest in full blown production. He has a keen ear for new music and a passion for trawling vintage house and disco, often researching playlists from decades gone by looking for lost classics and hidden treasures. This attitude has served him well with a constantly busy diary and enviable bookings regularly coming his way.
This is going to be our biggest Stardust Event Yet, and with a troupe of entertainers from dancers, to fire eaters, this is one night that'll you don't want to miss!!
