We are happy to announce we’re having Brooklyn’s Techno super star Desna on August 3rd!
DESNA is making her mark in the industry by avoiding a definitive classification. Noted as one of Dj Mag's emerging acts to watch in 2019 , her art transcends music; it embodies a way of living. A former Output New York Resident, DESNA's deejaying prowess through production and track selection can be defined as striking yet neutral. DESNA's futuristic sound rides primarily in the techno lane while drawing inspiration from a spectrum of sonic palettes.
She's had numerous, notable residencies around the world and has garnered wide acclaim by infusing her house inspired NY energy with an industrial influence derived from Western European travels.
Bonnie Hernz is a Tampa, FL based producer and DJ as well t3chn0 faction and Morph's resident. Surrounded by music her entire life, she soon discovered the art of DJing in 2013, performing around her home country of the Dominican Republic.
While in the DR, she caught the attention of one of the country's most successful promoters Carlos Coll aka Raputan, who began booking her to perform alongside some of techno's biggest names. With this experience and Carlos' belief in her talents, she saw herself playing alongside such names as Dani Sbert, Spektre, Samuel L Session, Alex Young, and Irregular Synth to name a few.
From there, her journey led her to the United States in 2015, where she caught the attention of Tampa Bay event promoter t3chn0 Faction, and has since shared the booth with acclaimed artists such as Kaiserdisco, Adriana Lopez & Keith Carnal. Her current bookings include opening for Tapefeed on July 13th, Desna in August 3rd and Julia Govor in August 24th .
Sophee is a producer and DJ based out of Tampa, FL releasing her music on a wide range of internationally based labels including Tres 14 Music (Barcelona), Stab Recordings (Berlin), Nyon Records (NYC / Belgium), Del Sol (USA), Furious Funk (USA), Late Night Munchies (USA), Explicit Codec (NYC) and more. Known for her deep house and nu disco sound, she is also well versed in many other styles and always fresh in her approach to dance music. In 2018, she co-founded the lofi label Floor 13 to break ground on new and undiscovered artists and to help cultivate the movement. Her recent closing set at DropItCanYa festival as well as club sets in venues such as Peek Downtown, The Attic Ybor, Iberian Rooster, Tryst, and Oak + Stone have introduced her as an artist to watch.
