Kaleidoskop is inviting you on a unique journey of celebrating our 1st anniversary along with the vibrancy of life, art and music; of breaking through the darkness of the night, to get lost in a rush of dancing shapes and colours, indulging in the unexpected.
Together with you, we will return to our beloved Diskothek Melancholie 2 – a concealed, mysterious space, a parallel universe, entered through the fridge of a Späti. Behind its doors, a fabulously angled space lies hidden, intimate and charming, which will not only cast a spell on you but will enable you to switch off and let yourself go.
As usual, we will present you with an exclusive live act, which will leave you reeling weightlessly: the Argentinian DJ, producer and label owner (Loosen Up Records) Ernesto Ferreyra has been playing some of the most renowned venues on the planet. From London's Fabric and Tokyo’s Yellow, Womb and Amnesia to Berlin's Panoramabar and Festivals just as Time Warp and Awakenings; Ferreyra knows how to turn a beat-hungry horde into sleeplessly purring dance kittens.
After notching up many successful releases on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Cadenza and Cynosure, and working on remixes for Manuel Araneda, Guillaume Coutu Dumonts and Adam Marshall, he has been finally dusting off his live equipment for us after 10 years. This is why it is a great honour, to welcome this rhythm-Casanova and beat-beast onto our stage for an exclusive live act and together with you celebrate our one year anniversary.
On the turntables Berlin-based acid house melody-master Stefan Braatz (Poker Flat / Monog Records) will provide superb entertainment – his musical métier a fusion of past and present sounds.
Top notch melodic deep house is awaiting you, as soon as Iman Deeper (Deep Locus Records) steps into the booth. The Iranian DJ and producer has been playing his fingers to the bone in Sisyphos, Rummelsbucht and Ritter Butzke and knows how to carry the dancing crowds off to unknown soundscapes.
Get your dancing shoes resoled after a funky house set of Spanish Producer SAMU (Little Helpers / Monog Records), whose releases have been supported by Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Kerri Chandler, Luna City Express and many more.
Rounding off our anniversary gathering will be resident DJ and Kaleidoskop co-founder Bruno Otranto. With a doctorate in dance floor psychology, the charismatic rave representative will make you shake your bootie until early morning.
So hop on board of our merry-go-round of glimmering colours, and ride with us until the sun rises and beyond.
Until then – your Kaleidoskop
