From a classical music education (saxophone and clarinet), Bellaire first tried hip-hop productions before discovering his affinity with House music: it enabled him to unite his love of hip-hop (using samples),with his own musical education.
Bellaire's first E.P., 'Paris City Jazz'—released on his own label, AOC Records—sold 1,500 physical copies, thus enhancing the reputation of the young up-and-coming French artist. Pairing his repertoire of quality underground house releases—some of which were heavily supported by Detroit Swindle and earned him a feature in Trax Magazine!—is a series of successful gigs internationally, appearing alongside greats such as Jermey Underground, Folamour, Kornel Kovaks, Dan Shake, Demuja and Session Victim.
For his second EP (28/09/18), Bellaire unveils a new aspect of his producer qualities and delivers 5 dance floor-killer tracks while keeping his jazzy secret touch with his synths and pianos. 'Ah', has already become a dance-floor killer and a D.R.O.P classic.
//TÊTE DE LA COURSE//
TDLC is back at D.R.O.P, this time accompanied by the exceptional Marc Igle Fer on the piano for a live opening and closing of the set.
Emotion, expression and personality: the fundamental pillars of TDLC’s sound. This is pure feel-good House with gospel highs and soulful riffs. 2019 is looking to be a big year for the rising star of the international House scene: he recently released ‘Your Love Keeps Me Hangin’ On’ to critical acclaim from Mixmag (premiere 24/01) and has is soon to be releasing new tracks....The Spanish born DJ and producer grew up with the heady rhythms of 90s house music before moving to New York to study music production. It was there he played his first gigs and forged a style influenced by the sounds of soul, funk, and afrobeat that surrounded him. He has released music on Defected Records and HedKandi amongst others, and is also the creative force behind Poetry in Motion records with fellow brothers Hurlee and Oui.
