19 October 2019 marks the exact date that we held our very first Group Therapy • and this calls for a celebration! So together with our longtime lover, friend and collaborator, Den Anden Side, we decided to move the party out of the club and into the hangar for a looooong night of good old fun.
100% LOVE - BODY POSITIVITY - WELLNESS CORNER - TAROT READING - DARKROOM
And remember: We can’t promise to fix all your problems but we can promise that you won’t have to face them alone.

This party is part of Den Anden Side - a two-day celebration organized by nightclub Ved Siden Af. Tour pass tickets + early bird tickets will go on sale from October 1st at 12:00. If you didn't get a presale tickets, there will still be plenty of tickets in the door.
We could not think of a better venue than a deserted hangar for Cashu. In her hometown, São Paulo, Carolina Schutzer aka DJ Cashu throws legendary raves with her party collective, Mamba Negra, in abandoned and uninhabited locations. She is one of the key elements of São Paulo's queer underground electronic music scene, where she is constantly communicating urgent political issues. Through the Mamba Negra collective - an independent brand that offers experiences of artistic multi-languages, platforms for diversified artists - and her practice as an artist, Cashu pushes forward the fights for female representation and sexual and gender freedom. Get ready for a sweaty queer dance!
Do yourself a favour: Listen to 'The Party We Could Have' and 'Ecstacy Is On Maple Mountain' from 'Blue Spring' - Nathan Micay’s 2019 debut album. Then you will know exactly why we have booked him! This album is like a contemporary deconstruction of trance and progressive house and tracks fall on the spectrum between soundscape and dance floor. It goes directly into your heart, brain, body and feet. As did his track 'First Casualty' from 2018, a big-room club track shot through with a bittersweet sense of optimism. Nathan’s label, Schvitz Edits, is a fundraising project: 100% of all profits from each release is donated to selected queer NGOs around the world. Nathan Micay is moreover an incredibly inventive DJ and his sets can be described as emotional and epic, involving quirky edits and often a touch of anime.
MIKEY. feat. Corpussy
Here is a real special and tailormade birthday treat for y'all. We have invited none other than Berlin's queer icon, MIKEY., to do one of its mesmerizing live performances. Both for its music and its iconic nightlife fashions, MIKEY. has won a place in a striking array of human hearts whilst traveling into uncharted territories of gender and sexuality. Its songs invoke unconditional states such as energetic connections, annihilation in love and exploration of hidden dimensions. MIKEY's is a music of intense longing to be able to connect beyond identity, beyond body and beyond fear AND we will be colliding them with the ever dazzling Corpussy (eccentric and unpredictable dancers Alma, Hazuki and Louella) as a bold attempt to merge many things unknown into a multifaceted performance that knows you.
No Group Therapy without our resident performer and party girl, PROXY! For the past year, PROXY has made people at our parties rave, smile, reflect/erect, laugh and horny. Her stunning and conceptual looks turn heads and gives the rave that extra something it needs. She is a bad bitch and will make you sweat all night long!
As always, our loving residents are:

ABOUT GROUP THERAPY
Group Therapy is a series of bi-monthly therapeutic dancing sessions in Copenhagen. We strive to make space for diversity in and around the DJ booth. In collaboration with Ved Siden Af, we work actively to create a safer space based on community and mutual respect. We invite everyone to come bend and play with the norms!
- No pictures or videos of any kind inside the club. People should not have to worry about being documented. Stickers for smartphones will be given in the door.
- No discrimination, racism, sexism, hatred, misogyny, misandry, homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia and xenophobia. If you experience something please report in to any of the club’s staff or find a Club Mafia safer space ambassador.
- No phones on the dancefloors.
- No leering, you may look, but don't stare. If you experience unwanted attention, please don't hesitate to contact Club Mafia, security or the staff.
We welcome all sexualities, ethnicities and genders.
All we ask is that you respect your fellow dancers and enjoy RIGHT NOW.
SAFER SPACE POLICY
It is our goal that anyone visiting our club, regardless of sexuality, gender, outfit (or lack thereof), build or ethnicity feels the safe and the inclusive atmosphere that Ved Siden Af is built upon.
This is a big task to handle all by ourselves, so we kindly ask everyone to keep their eyes and ears open for bad and inappropriate behavior around the club. If you see or experience any harassment and/or unwanted attention, please DO NOT hesitate to contact any of our staff or security with your issue.
Our guests comfort and well-being is our highest priority and no issue is too small for us to take serious.
If the discomfort is real to you, it is real to us.
NO PHONES ON OUR DANCEFLOORS
Our space is a place for freedom of expression without the all-seeing eye of social media, therefore photos and videos are not allowed inside our space. Due to this, we demand that everyone leave all cameras, Instagram, Snapchat etc. in the wardrobe. Breaking this rule will result in an early trip home.
Furthermore, if you are on the dance floor, please refrain from activity on your phone, we make the dance floor for dancing, not for updating yourself on your latest Facebook feed or checking out your new Tinder matches. If you need to use your phone, please go do it in the lobby, lounge or at least not in the middle of a moving floor. It kills the vibe.
See you soon.
