Ministry of Sound in Split on New Year’s Eve
Split, November 30th, 2009. – The world’s biggest clubbing attraction Ministry of Sound is performing at Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia on New Year’s Eve. This spectacular event, not yet seen in this part of Europe, is organized by Pirex promotion agency under the brand Set2Split.
First performers in the line up are the famous hip hoppers from Split - The Beet Fleet, also known as TBF. On the New Year’s Eve, TBF will also perform on the main square of another Croatian city, Rijeka. What makes their performance even more special is that for the first time in Croatian history a band will perform in two places at the same time. Next year, TBF, a band on the peek of their musical career will celebrate twenty years of performing during which they published four studio albums.
Main act of the ultimate New Year’s clubbing event in Croatia is Antoine Clamaran, one of the most wanted club DJs on the dance floors around the world, from New York to Tokyo and of course, Ibiza. In Split, for the very first time in Croatia, Antoine Clamaran will promote his recent published studio album “Spotlight” along with two singles “Gold” and “Reach for the Stars”, that already made a huge success on music charts around the globe. As a musician who made hundreds of productions and remixes he is wanted by the world famous DJs, bands and singers (like Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan or Jean-Michael Jarre) who want him to remix their original productions. Especially for those occasions he uses his traditional recipe - infiltration of house and electro pieces.
Special addition to the program will be local DJs who will perform as opening act and they will get the chance from the organizers of the show to show their talent and present themselves to the producers of Ministry of Sound, who will attend the event. Until December 7th, www.set2split.com organizes an open competition for DJs who wish to perform on New Year’s Eve in Spaladium Arena. Visitors of the web site www.set2split.com will select the performers. Voting closes on 15th of December. Four best ones will get the chance to perform in Spaladium Arena where a so called DJ Battle will be organized. Every chosen DJ will get a half an hour set in front of the audience who will rate the best DJ by applauding.
Organizers are announcing the best sound and light laser effects, special Ministry of Sound effects, four big LED screens, direct video transmission of the event on LED screens as well as the main DJ stage that Croatian public didn’t yet get the chance to see. Organizers also announced the performance of international surprise guests as well as the performance of a world’s famous dance attraction Artists from Ibiza. Artists from Ibiza are international dancers with Tischy, who is their leading lady and main vocalist, coming from Italy. Tischy started her career in the year 1982 dancing in many clubs and theatres. After the beginning of ACID house movement and its raise on dance floors around Europe and the world, Tischy decided to form a team of dancers around her. Artists from Ibiza offer attractive dance spectacle with lots of different attractions. During the show, dancers change several costumes and Tischy, with her staggering voice, raises the atmosphere giving extra energy to the public. Within the group members there are acrobats, who play with fire, height aerialist on slings and trapeze, singers and musicians. Artists from Ibiza performed in many clubs in Spain, Japan, Germany, Switzerland and France.
Tickets for Set2Split with Ministry of Sound and TBF are on sale via Eventim sales network from Monday, November 9, at the normal price of 150 kuna (18,50£) and more. For the New Year’s Eve, Spaladium Arena will be able to receive eight thousand visitors in total, while 1500 special places will be reserved for VIP guests and 300 for VVIP guests.
