Fears, Laura Groves
“Fears has grown to become one of Ireland’s foremost creators of ambitious, subtle pop… an artist wielding rapt and carefully-woven electro-pop like few others”
- The Thin Air
Fears is the solo project of Dublin born musician and producer Constance Keane. Combining reflective electronics, acoustic samples and haunting vocals, Fears invites the listener into an ethereal journey, blurring the boundaries between music and visual art.
Her minimalist approach centres on emotive subjects, which are all-at-once deeply personal yet remarkably universal. Gaining a reputation for engaging and immersive live shows, recent highlights include performances at Other Voices, Body & Soul and concerts alongside Girls Names, Epicycle and Carla dal Forno.
Laura Groves is a recording artist, songwriter and producer from Bradford, West Yorkshire. Laura has been recording and releasing music for the past ten years. Her debut album, under the name “Blue Roses”, was released in 2009 on XL Recordings.
