Rometti is well-known throughout RVA, as he has been playing gigs for over 20 years. While experimenting into different genres of underground electronic dance music, he has molded his own exquisite style. He is best known for collaborating Deep House and Dirty Tech.
DJ Plateau [VA BEACH]
With a knack for pristine musical selection, tight mixing ability, and first-rate production skills, DJ Plateau has been clubbing and spinning records for nearly 14 years. Throughout the years he has refined his technique, has played some pretty major events along the East Coast, and has become a very well-known name in his hometown area. His production talent was featured in spring 2011 as part of a remix competition of BT's "The Emergency" sponsored Indaba music, Myxer, and BT himself. In June his submission placed 4th out of 277th and received Honorable Mention for his work. Returning to his DJing schedule he showcased a darker, more techno driven style playing 2 hours on Richmond radio's WRIR 97.3 radio show in April 2011. He also shared the stage at the Norva Theater in May 2011 in Norfolk with new age recording artist, Ryan Farish, who is also known as a very formidable DJ. In July 2011 he dropped a multi-genre 2 hour set at Formosa Restaurant in Roanoke, VA and was asked back for a future gig. Plateau performed a live set of his own brand new downtempo/electronica tracks which were remixed and manipulated live at an outdoor festival in Pennsylvania in August 2011 called Kind Roots 2.
Along-side of his busy DJ schedule he has taken time to work in his full production studio. His original track which got him recognition was his own interpretation of the seminal anthemic classic "Greece 2000" by 3 Drives On A Vinyl aptly named "Greece 2010." He is now working on more productions and just finished an electronica cross over album entitled "Liquid Theories." During this time he had been working along side one of Hampton Roads' best known DJs, Anthony Paul, on a few remixes and originals including their own collaboration, "Whatever,' that was signed by Tasha Prime Movers' label, Rocker's Dub, summer 2011, featuring a dubstep remix by Tasha. With several DJ gigs a month, numerous offers for studio collaborations, and the occasional offer to travel out his home state of Virginia to rock the crowds, Plateau is holding strong as one of Hampton Roads most recognizable DJs.
Matt Donatello [RVA]
Born and raised in Richmond, VA. Matt Donatello is a paramedic by trade, DJ by passion. He loves music and being able to use it to move people in a positive way. He has always been especially fond of EDM and Electronica with their feel-good beats and driving basslines. His favorite genres include: House, Techno, Trance, and DnB. Whether it be a heavy track at a huge festival or a more underground sound with a groovy bassline in a dark club, there's no better rush than transferring all of that energy into a crowd and seeing their reaction.
