As the annual feast of St. Valentine's approaches, we, who have made the business of love the business of our lives, felt a duty to honor the holiday with an evening of passion and music to celebrate the Queer Boston community. On Saturday, Feb 15, Boudoir will be returning to the Lower Level in Cambridge with Mystery Date. Bring a lover, find another or revel solo in radical self-acceptance. Mystery Date is a celebration of human erotic connections in all shapes, configurations, and forms. We have invited 2 special musical talents to join us:
Robert Yang is one of the original members of Honey Soundsystem and has released various records on Josh Cheon's Dark Entries label and Honey Soundsystem's flagship label. A multi-instrumentalist, Robert was trained in saxophone starting at age 10, before moving onto a Fender Telecaster after high school. After being exposed to Southern California rave culture in the late 90s, he moved onto DJing and collecting records. By the time he planted his roots in San Francisco in 2005, Robert had built an impressive analog synth-based studio, which also serves as the creative hub for his riveting live performances.
