March will be a month dedicated to our beloved London town and Unmasked will be committed to give exposure to our fantastic local scene.
On the 14th March we will be hosting a night of true madness, directed by local talents Sharplines, Angulima Bushido, Phin, Ursula, Andromeda and Twang. We are ready to bring you on a journey through inclement industrial, acid dreams, electro explorations and dirty synths.
✚ Sharplines, co-founder of Delaitpath, has released music on labels such as RND. Records, Raven Sigh and Persephonic Sirens (Ancient Methods). More recently the Italian-born, Berlin-based artist has founded his own label called Dead by Overdose releasing an EP as NATHANIEL.
✚ Angulima Bushido is a new name on the scene, but not a face that you haven’t seen before.
Having spent over ten years organising parties in his hometown in Italy and making a name for himself in London thanks to Unmasked, he is now stepping into a new music adventure.
Rooted in Detroit electro, his sound is a blend of techno, EBM, acid and ravecore, that never loses contact with the dance-floor, the place where he comes from, made of the people he’s most grateful for.
✚ Fascinated by sound and how much impact it has on human psyche, Phin is on a mission to find and create sounds that reach the forsaken zones of the human mind.
In 2019, she launched a music label & text project, Theory of Yesterday (TOY), aiming to bring together sounds and words from like-hearted artists.
✚ Andromeda is a London based musical act inspired by The Chained Woman from Greek mythology. She is tenacious DJ with a strong selection and a bold mixing style that has gained a reputation for annihilating dance floors in the London techno scene. Influenced by acid, electro, trance and detroit techno, her distinctive sound combines the raw intensity of the nineties with the faster and harsher elements of contemporary club music. She is a resident of the infamous 24-hour nightclub in London, FOLD, where she regularly delivers peak-time sets and plays alongside some of the most influential artists in the techno scene.
✚ Twang is a DJ based in London, and a predominant figure on east London’s underground queer scene.
He's eclecticism has developed into a distinct artistic voice in the booth where he has crafted a sound in the more obscure shadows of techno. His sound is high energy, hypnotic, trance, industrial and EBM, cultivating a mysterious mood across those sounds.
✚ Ursula has started his musical journey in the early 2010's playing in the East London queer scene, then gradually shifted direction towards harder techno. He predominantly performs in Ableton by layering clips and stems with full tracks. Ursula searches for the sonic translation of climactic emotions by creating a sense of doom mixed wonder and fascination.
