A big thank you to everyone who came and witnessed Djrum work his wizardry in Hidden’s basement last month, what a sight that was.
For our next event, we are very excited to host Casablancan badman KOSH. Who will be performing a live set in a newly relocated Cotton!
Merging sounds from his roots in Morocco with contemporary dance music, KOSH has created a unique blend of spacey, minimalistic melodies that are pleasing to the ears, yet deadly on the dance floor.
KOSH’s music often has unsuspecting and subtle elements that add extra punch to his tracks. The addition of the rolling acidic melody in ‘Vicious Love’ or the whipping electro bassline in ‘Eat A Soup’, KOSH has an ability to couple intricacy with flare. Safe to say we like it very much.
A standout figure on the ever-impressive Casa Voyager, KOSH is vital to the labels progressing sound that covers a diverse range of genres. The label started as a loose idea by a group of friends and has since been granted label of the month by Resident Advisor. Nothing short of well deserved.
Dubbed as one of Morocco’s most talented artists by label honcho OCB, Kosh’s sound is diverse, ranging from luscious deep house to rolling electro and acid. This varied but signature production is transferred to his live set as displayed in his wicked Boiler Room last year.
We can’t wait to see what he has in store come March the 20th…
