▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE ANNOUNCEMENT
The INDIVIDUUM team is happy to announce the third event of their No.1 project, the next milestone in their audiovisual journey.
▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE CONCEPT
During our events the artists will be challenged to present a musical interpretation of a film they love, one that will also be screened behind them during their set. This way we can get to know the artists from a new angle, and performer and audience will unite in an environment where they are surrounded by a mixture of intense sounds and vibrating images.
▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE ARTIST
After Cio d'Or and Michal Wolski our next guest will be Djedjotronic who gladly accepted our invitation to show us why he is one of the greatest pioneers of today's electronic music scene. This french artist does not care about any borders between genres, he feels equally comfortable playing/producing energetic electro, dark toned techno or merciless EBM. No matter what he does, he never fails to deliver the highest quality.
His more than a decade long career skyrocketed when he became one of the main artists at Boysnoize Records. One of the most important milestones of his time at this legendary label was the R.U.R album which was released in 2018 and was highly appraised by both fans and critics.
His tracks can be heard in sets and mixes by a wide range of musical artists including Gesaffelstein or Ancient Methods which also proves how versatile his unmistakable sound is.
His talents and unique visions were well received and appreciated by the electronic music scene. His tracks and remixes were released by first-class record labels (e.g. CPU, Zone, Ministry of Sound, Lektroluv, Ed Banger) and his name can be regularly found in the lineup of major music festivals (e.g. Amsterdam Dance Event). During his career he has worked and collaborated with several of today's most highly anticipated producers including Miss Kittin, Tiga, The Hacker or Boys Noize himself.
▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE WHY
Our previous guests were mainly techno artists, however, you may have noticed that the Individuum hosts don't mind exploring different styles and genres of electronic music depending on what fits the scenes of their chosen films best. The reason why we have decided to organise a more electro based event this time is simple - even though we are huge fans of quality techno music we wouldn't like our event series to be centered around one specific type of music. We'd rather have the love for music in general to dominate and the borders between musical genres to stay in the background.
Also, now that springtime is almost here with more sunshine and warmer temperatures we thought it might be more fitting to celebrate with something special that is filled with positive energy.
▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE GAME
Just like before, you, the audience, can influence how our flyer and wristbands will look like by sending one of your own photos, drawings, pictures, etc.
* The artwork should match at least one of the keywords of the event. This time the keywords are: lust for life, creativity, artificial intelligence
* Artworks should be sent to [email protected] by the 1st of March. 5 pictures will be selected by the Individuum team and you can vote which of these 5 pictures you like most. The artwork that gets the most likes will win. Deadline for voting is the 6th of March.
* The award will be 2 tickets to the event and a white wristband.
▪️ ▫️ ◾️ ◽️ ◼️ ◻️ THE RULE
It is forbidden to use cameras during the event. We will have our professional cameraman on board so videos and pictures will be available after the event.
One of the most essential element of our events is the phone-free environment. Please keep in mind that by buying the tickets and attending the event you also acknowledge and accept this rule.
Thank you for your understanding!
