Channeling the melancholic spirits of deserted ballrooms, a husky chanteur lurking in the shadows with the uncanny ability to traverse between worlds.
Lewis G. Burton is a London based DJ, performance artist and activist. They co-founded the performance art platform come queer techno rave INFERNO. As an extension of INFERNO Burton curated a two-day seminar exploring the intersections between performance art, nightlife, music and queerness entitled the INFERNO SUMMIT in February 2018. The INFERNO Summit takes place annually. They are currently a member of Pxssy Palace collective as well as organising London Trans+ Pride 2020 with activist Lucia Blake.
Burton achieved notoriety a couple of years ago in both the art world and public sphere with their project ‘FLESH’ (a collaboration with Victor Ivanov). Their most recent performance piece ‘I’m afraid of men like you’ was commissioned by SHOWstudio, over the past few years they have also performed at institutions such as Barbican, ICA and Tate Modern.
As a DJ Burton has gained a loyal following playing on the London LGBTQ+ scene. They now travel widely playing at raves and clubs across Europe and beyond.
Samantha Togni is a a core member of INFERNO. She has also performed in super-clubs like O2 Brixton Academy, Ministry Of Sound, Electric Brixton, Goa (Rome), Sala Cool (Madrid), Milk Club (Turin), Loftus Hall (Berlin), Lanificio 159 (Rome), Club Haus (Milan), Aistope Lounge (Tokyo) and many more.
Although she has numerous gigs lined up over the coming months at Destino Ibiza, Paris, EGG London, Five Miles, Elektrowerkz and on the Island of Mustique, Togni has been focusing her time in the studio. She has recently finished her new EP “Brutus” and it’s already working on her next release. Samantha is also working on a new project with Danny Passerella and has tracks lined up to be released on Glauben Records, Industrial Techno United, LSA Live, Subwoofer Records and Loose Lips.
Togni is also the founder of Boudica a London based label, monthly radio show on Threads and party at The Pickle Factory and a platform for women and non-binary folk.
Dahc Dermur VIII, A walking piece of art and true visionary, his Dj sets run the gamut of human emotion. His carefully constructed cinematic scores are like sonic paintings set to performance, incorporating influences from Butoh and Japanese film noir. He utilises elements of experimental techno, industrial soundscapes, power electronics, ambient, classical, darkwave and ebm.
He has shared billings with the likes of Ancient Methods, Phase Fatale, Orphx, Choronzon, Rrose, Samuel Kerridge, I Hate Models, Unhuman, Cindytalk, and Olivier de Sagazan. Earlier this year he was featured on The Boiler Room and is an essential part of Kaos London and Khemia Records.
Lee Adams is an artist, curator, dj and founder of Khemia Records. He runs KAOS London where he djs under the name Choronzon.
Over the past 18 years Choronzon has performed at hundreds of clubs, events and festivals across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East where he has shared stages with the likes of Orphx, Rrose, Silent Servant, Ancient Methods, Samuel Kerridge, Esplendor Geometrico, Broken English Club, Paula Temple, Phase Fatale, JK Flesh and British Murder Boys. He has made guest appearances for the CTM Festival at Tresor (Berlin), Fasma Festival (Athens), Forte Festival (Portugal) (with Mia Zabelka and Kira O'Reilly), Antiworld at Brixton Academy, Temple, Dark Sun and Astron Bar (Athens), Gegen at KitKat Club (Berlin) and Exist Festival in Ramallah, the first ever electronic music festival in Palestine. He recently curated The Boiler Room: Kaos London Edition and has created podcasts for New Brvtalism, KNK PWR, Virgo (Palestine), 199 Radio and Mindless (Morocco). He runs Khemia Records and also curates the Kaos London residency on Rinse FM and the Kaos London Podcast series. Most recently he played for the Balenciaga after-show party at The Rex Club Paris.
