Part 1 of a 2 part special at Counter Culture this Autumn/Winter...
As a booking agency, Jackmode looks after one of the most impressive and respected rosters in Europe, if not the World. With artists spanning the realms of Deep-House, Tropical, Tech-House and all the way to Baile Funk; Jackmode has shown itself to be a versatile and powerful player in the contemporary dance music scene.
Now Jackmode takes to the clubs itself, with a series of parties in some of the biggest cities in Europe.
Bringing you line-ups bustling with new-comers as well as giants from the roster, these clubnights are set to do nothing short of explode.
As well as running the renowned, tastemaking blog (www.youcancallmepelski.com) for the last four year, the PELSKI boys also know how to throw a party.
They'll be bringing to Room 2 the unstoppable ROUND TABLE KNIGHTS, who've set the house scene on fire with a slew of cheeky, sample-based house releases on Made To Play, Southern Fried Records and Deadfish. Their steal-drum tropical-house stomper Calypso has been one of the most spinned tracks of the year, and they've been championed by Jesse Rose as playing 'the best house sets of 2009'.
The Pelski room will also see another very special guest: MIDLAND. His debut release (a deep, soulful collaboration with Ramadanman) as well as his outstanding Play The Game EP, have received unanimous priase from the most captious of critics, whilst managing to woo both the house AND dubstep heads. Resident Advisor, Phonica, Fact and DJMag are all calling him the next big thing - and Midland's hype's well deserved.
The partystarting Trouble Vision duo MR. SOLID GOLD and PARK RANGER will be serving up their impeccable taste in house and techno, whilst CHARLES DARKLY'll be bringing the bouncy tech-house to the ones and twos.
The night will be held as part of Counter Culture, a 4 month music and arts project based beneath London Bridge Station in a warehouse style railway arch space.
99 days of Music and the Arts.
