Thump thump thump, those rabbits are at it again and this time Bones and Guy Williams welcome ‘Disco Bloodbaths' Damon Martin to the arches of Shoreditch that has now become their new London warren, Cargo!
Damon Martin is perhaps best known as a founding member of the notorious Disco Bloodbath crew who've gone from throwing small basement parties in East London to rocking dance floors around Europe in the space of a few short years.
Just as happy causing peak-time damage with his unique blend of raw disco, spaced-out Italo, vintage house and proto-techno as he is sound-tracking the early hours with a box of sleaze. He enjoys a well-earned reputation as an impeccably varied selector who can dig deep with the best of them but isn't afraid of dropping a big record or two.
It is this reputation that has seen Damon playing to many of the UK's most prestigious dancefloors with regular appearances at Fabric, Bugged Out, Bestival, The Big Chill, Secretsundaze, Horse Meat Disco, Lovebox, The Warehouse Project and Matter. In the last couple of years Damon has taken his sound globally to Japan, Berlin, Ibiza, Paris, Croatia, Dubai, Barcelona and more, including sets at Snowbombing and Electric Elephant festivals, We Love Sundays at Space and Bar 25 amongst others.
As part of Disco Bloodbath Damon has completed mixes at the request of Resident Advisor and Beats in Space, while keeping busy on the remix front for the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Little Boots, White Lies, The Monarchy and The Aliens. He has just completed for release the first original Disco Bloodbath track "El Morro". Hopefully you'll get a taster on the dance floor!
