Runaway, Marcos Cabral, Jacques Renault, Erika Sherman, Jeremy Berman, Bethany Benzur
Kiss & Tell once again presents the Unsound Festival closing party with an exploration of vintage dance music presented by some of the deepest crate digging experts the U.S. has to offer.
Runaway, aka Marcos Cabral & Jacques Renault will be playing a mixture of house, disco, and techno alongside their own re-edits and productions.
Erika Sherman of Ectomorph will be playing a set of disco, electro, new wave and other super fun gems from her collection. We met Erika years ago in Detroit at her imfamous No Way Back party. She played Bunker last year and we are excited to have her back in New York for a speacial set at Kiss & Tell.
Jeremy Berman will be keeping the upstairs cocktail lounge at Hotel Chantelle super sexy all night, with a special extended set of makeout disco, retro lounge, candlelight jazz, and 60s soul.
Our gorgeous resident DJ Bethany Benzur will open up the night with a passionately purple playlist some of her best disco and italo records.
Psychic readings by Hank Hivnor all night at Hotel Chantell's upstairs cocktail lounge.
Dress to impress in your favorite shade of purple: violet, amethyst, heliotrope, lavender, lilac, magenta, mulberry, orchid, periwinkle, perse, aubergine, cyclamen, fuchsia, mauve, plum, twilight...
Kiss & Tell is a girly after work theme party, started by artist Seze Devres in December 2005. Each month she invites her favorite DJs to play a vintage dance music set, in a genre specific to the theme. The party has started a tradition of hosting well known techno DJs eager to play non-techno sets, filled with the all the records that inspired their earliest love of music.
