Countdown has started… soon it will be time for yet another edition of Wunderbar! This time will be a special ADE edition together with French agency Lola ED. On Wednesday the 19th of October Lola ED and her artists will appear at the Chicago Social Club on the Leidseplein with a massive killer line-up and kick off the ADE in great style.
Stepping up will be brand new acts such as ‘Apollonia’ (Dan Ghenacia & Dyed Soundorom & Shonky) and ‘Hold Youth’ (Seuil & Le Loup). But that’s not all, because French heavyweights and Lola members Anthony Collins and Djebali will also be showing you what they are all about. Support on this night will be from the always enjoyable B27 residents Eke Evi & Erin, Charles Davos, Rus and the brand new resident Moondrive.
Add to this a crazy Wunderbar show as you know it, exciting special surprises and a closing time of 7:00 AM and you know that this is definitely going to be one to remember!
For the first time ever and this year during ADE is the special act and new project by Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky. Named after their newborn label, it will be the first appearance in Holland of these three French house gurus together. With their first release on the Apollonia label expected in the beginning of 2012, this magic threesome will be more than ready to take it all over.
Hold Youth is the name of the label and artist duo Seuil & Le Loup. These guys will also be performing in this formation for the first time in Holland, so they can't wait to blow you away with their new sound. Below you can find a preview of the first release coming out in October, which will only be released on wax together with all the Hold Youth releases.
Preview of first Hold Youth release:
A well-known and respected DJ worldwide and especially in the Amsterdam club scene. Anthony delivers a mix of deep house, house, minimal and deep tech and is not the type that puts one hit record after another, but always blends his sets with tracks that have a real artistic reason to it. Anthony’s music is very successful, with many releases on high-quality labels like Get Physical and Vakant.
A club kid in Paris in the early 00s and inspired by great artists of the time like Dan Ghenacia, Ivan Smagghe, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano. Following several EP’s out on Freak n'Chic and Tuning Spork, French DJ/producer Djebali climbs to the next step to launch his new label '( djebali )': a series of limited vinyl spreading only his own sounds.
