Back for another halloween party, we're proud to present a stella lineup of underground house and techno at east London's best loved 19th century victorian warehouse space.
And there's a secret basement after party w/ Agaric in shoreditch as well, which is going till very very late...
We're very excited to have the hottest new signing on Jamie Jones & Lee Foss's label, Hot Creations, over from Miami - DANNY DAZE.
Danny has taken the underground scene by storm this year, having produced the biggest hit of the Miami Sound Conference 2011, Your Everything. As well as being a staple in sets by Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Lee Foss and Art Department, the track has been played out by pretty much every discerning dj all summer at festivals & clubs across the UK. Described by Hot Creations as 'disco tech' the track is a flamboyant amalgamation of eerie electronic melody, tough, hypnotic house, and sexy robotic vox, and has become established as an off-kilter dancefloor killer.
On top of this track, the B-side to the Your Everything EP has arguably had an even bigger impact. 'Fall Away From Love' was given it's debut on Jaymo and Andy George's Radio 1 show, and was named Pete Tong's Essential New Tune last month. It's a fresh homage to old-school house, with dynamic old school synth stabs layered over a tight bassline with slick, uplifting vocals. It's a stand-out track, and it's been at the top of the Beatport charts all summer. This is almost certainly Danny's breakout year, and he's also produced some excellent remixes over the last few months for Maxxi Soundsystem and the Brigante & Ali Love 'Different Morals' EP, with loads more in the pipeline.
As well as making waves as a very talented producer, Danny's been djing at raves since the age of 13. In addition to drawing influence from his Latin roots, his sets are also inspired by Giorgio Moroder and Anthony Rother, being deeply commanded by Detroit Techno and Italo Disco. Get ready for a night of amazing music for our halloween party!
Recent tracks & mixes here:
Clive is not someone who needs an introduction, having a long history of djing on the underground London house scene since the late 80s, being a resident dj at the world's most musically influential club, DC10, and as one half of Peace Division. During the last decade Clive has established himself as the British backbone at DC10, laying down his trademark brand of deep no-nonsense tech-house week in week out.
Clive's residency at DC10 brought him into contact with Crosstown Rebels frontman, Damian Lazrus, who quickly brought Clive into the Crosstown family. Recently Clive has being working on his solo production path, which is starting to take shape, with collaborations with Jamie Jones and Dyed Soundorom. He's recently been touring across the US with the Crosstown family, following the Rebel Rave mix compilation Clive put together for the label. Expect a stomping set of expertly mixed house and tech-house from Clive on halloween. Not to be missed!
MARTIN DAWSON (live)
Martin Dawson has been absolutely smashing it for the last 12 months, with some very successful releases and collaborations with some of the best labels in underground house and tech including Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, 2020vision, Off recordings and Moodmusic. Notably his Sunday Smoking album released late last year was a huge success, with a number of charismatic, melodic house and deep tracks aimed at the dancefloor, as well as some beautifully crafted downtempo soundscapes more fitting with a lazy sunday afternoon. The move to work under his own name came off the back of a very fruitful career working under his alternative guise – King Roc – for which he released his debut album in 2009 to critical acclaim from the international dance music press including album of the month in DJ Mag and 10/10 by IDJ Mag. He was nominated by DJ Mag for best UK producer and best artist album 2009 along the likes of Jamie Jones and Skream. Also well known for his work as Two Armadillos with studio partner and good friend Giles Smith (secretsundaze), Martin is a producer that has the ability to step out of the box of just one genre and can turn his talent to anything that takes his fancy... but with a deep rooted love of house this is where you will find most of his work residing.
Expect an energetic set of forward thinking house and deep flavours at Potty Mouth on halloween!

JAY SHEPHEARD (live)
Jay is a London-based house, techno & disco producer, dj and label boss who first landed on the scene in '07. Since then he's been pretty prolific, producing a consistently high standard of colourful tracks. As well as charming dancefloors all over the world, he launched a record label last year, Retrofit. Including a number of his own deep house and disco tinged productions, Retrofit has wheeled out 6 releases, with Retrofit 6 - Rudy's Midnight Machine - currently at the top of Juno's Deep House best seller chart. Retrofit was picked as the label to watch in 2011 by Beatport, and has seen enthusiastic support from modern dance luminaries such as Catz 'N Dogz, Mark Henning, and The Revenge.
Recently Jay's been busy honing his live set, and will be treating the dancefloor at Potty Mouth to a full live set of his unique style of slick deep disco and house flavours. Can't wait!
